Lil’ TJ gave me a longer than normal nap this afternoon so I was finally able to finish working on our master bathroom. And I use the term “finish” loosely – there is (and almost always will be) improvements to do, but I’m calling it done for now. I finalized homes for items and incorporated products to give a little structure to the organization.
We have a small tub that we won’t be using, so I hung a shower rod to dry the boys’ swimsuits. I saw this online years ago and have always thought it was so clever. I’m excited to be able to implement it!
And now our linen closet has more structure with containers and shelf dividers to make it easier to find towels, extra toiletries, and home supplies.
Of course I would love to have matching containers everywhere and lots of labels, but for now this is good. Just as I was finishing, Lil’ TJ woke up. If nothing else it feels good to get it crossed of my To Do List. Plus Lil’ TJ is on the move now, so I need to focus on baby-proof organizing…yikes!
This is part of a series on how I’m organizing a new home while taking care of two kids with J, trying to start a business in a new area, and handling life in general. In an attempt to keep posts timely, I ask all readers (especially my English teacher mom) to forgive errors. I’m going for completion, not perfection.
